Exploring Communication as an “Acting” Dimension Action: Implications for Project Professionals

Pierre-Luc Lalonde is a Ph.D. candidate at École Polytechnique, Montreal, Canada. He holds a bachelor’s degree in design from the Design School of Université de Montréal. He earned a master’s degree from École Polytechnique with a specialization in project management. In this research, Pierre-Luc Lalonde focused on communication processes within a design project team. He received two prestigious scholarships from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada in 2004 and 2005. He also received an Award of Excellence from École Polytechnique in 2006. He is currently conducting his Ph.D. research activities under the supervision of Professor Mario Bourgault, of École Polytechnique, and Professor Alain Findeli, of the Design School of Université de Montréal.
